Retreats and Long Stays at Moon Rabbit: Structuring a Week (or a Month) Around the Full Moon
Draft — not yet owner-approved
Open-ended time is a gift and also, honestly, a little shapeless. A week with no structure can drift; a month with no structure can drift further. What we've noticed with our longer-staying guests is that the property already hands you a natural rhythm, if you're willing to use it: the full moon.
It happens here once every 28 days, rising directly over the mountain ridge and laying that raw silver light across the central lake — we've written about it elsewhere as the property's celestial clock, and it works just as well as a planning anchor as it does a nice view. Arrive, settle in, let the days find their own pace early on. Then let the coming full moon night on the rooftop be the thing you're quietly building toward.
For a small retreat group, that same rhythm gives a week or a month an obvious shape without anyone having to force one: early days for arriving and settling, the middle stretch for whatever the group's actual work is, and a shared night at the end that everyone experiences together, at the same table on the same deck.
We're not going to promise specific retreat programming or dates here — that's still something we're building out properly. But the rhythm itself is already there, every 28 days, whether or not anyone's named a program around it yet.
